Policy Palm Oil

The production of palm oil is the subject of much discussion from both an environmental and social sustainability perspective, as oil palm plantations often are established on land on which tropical rainforest previously grew.
Therefore - as part of our work on sustainability - palm oil in private-label products and products imported from third country must be 100 % certified to ”segregated” level. This means that all palm oil used is actually certified. This applies to food.
In addition, dialogue is being conducted with all suppliers on reviewing their use of palm oil and striving to use sustainable alternatives in their products.
